“Yain PDF,” “we,” and “us” refer to the Yain PDF application and its publisher. This policy applies to information processed through the app and to messages you voluntarily send to us. It does not govern websites or services operated by other companies.
2. Information we handle
Documents and images
When you choose files, photos, or camera captures, Yain PDF accesses them to provide the action you requested. The resulting PDFs and working copies are saved according to your device and app settings. We do not need the contents of those documents to provide ordinary offline PDF features.
Device and technical information
The app may receive basic technical information supplied by the operating system, such as app version, operating-system version, and device settings relevant to compatibility. We use this only where needed to operate, secure, or troubleshoot the app.
Messages to support
If you contact us, we receive the details you include, such as your email address, message, attachments, and the date of your request.
3. Why we use information
We use information to:
- open, scan, convert, edit, export, and organize the files you select;
- save preferences and maintain app functionality on your device;
- diagnose crashes, answer support requests, and protect the service from misuse; and
- meet legal obligations when a valid legal request applies.
We do not use the text or images in your documents to build advertising profiles.
4. When information leaves your device
Yain PDF does not sell your personal information. We do not share document contents with advertisers. Information may be sent outside the device only when you choose a connected function, such as sharing a PDF through another app, opening a third-party storage provider, or contacting support. Those destinations operate under their own privacy terms.
We may disclose limited information if required by law, necessary to protect users or the service, or needed to investigate security abuse.
5. Storage, security, and deletion
Files created or imported by Yain PDF are controlled through your device’s storage and operating-system permissions. You can remove them using the app’s delete controls or your device’s file manager. Uninstalling the app may remove app-private files, subject to your device’s backup behavior.
We use reasonable safeguards for information we control. No software or transmission method can guarantee absolute security, so please avoid storing highly sensitive material on a device that is not adequately protected.
Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably needed to respond, keep business records, or resolve disputes.
6. Your choices and rights
You decide which files, photos, and permissions Yain PDF can use. You can change permissions in your device settings and can decline optional access, although some features may then be unavailable.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of personal information we hold. To make a request, contact us below. We may need to verify your identity before completing it.
7. Updates to this policy
